My journey to the Catholic Church began in 2017, simultaneously, I decided to learn hand embroidery. While discerning Catholicism, I focused specifically on faith-based embroidery patterns, which eventually lead to the development of the Stitch a Saint series and my signature text-based embroidery style. Upon officially entering the Catholic Church in 2019 I was immediately commissioned to make my first three maniturgia. I opened Thread Roses Embroidery on the Feast of St. Joseph in March of 2020. He is the co-patron of Thread Roses along with St. Therese of Lisieux. Since then, it has been an honor and a privilege to make maniturgia for priests across the United States, as well as from Canada and Mexico. As of 2026, my embroidery work is almost exclusively maniturgia, though I offer a variety of patterns for the various devotional pieces I have made over the years.
I live in North Carolina with my husband and children on 10 acres we named The Little Way Farm, where we do small things with great love.
